What college did you go to and what did you major in?
I completed my undergraduate degree at California State University, Los Angeles and studied Organizational Communication with and emphasis in Public Relations. I was also a full time Track and Field student athlete. I later went on to pursue a Master's in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University and recently graduated (Dec '22)!
Where are you from?
I'm originally from Fresno, CA. It's a city centralized in the state, right in the middle of The Bay and Southern California. At 18 I moved to Los Angeles, CA for school and lived there for a total of six years. I found myself in Fresno, again, from 2017-2019. Summer of 2019, I moved across the country to Grand Rapids, MI. I spent three years in the Midwest. Now, I am back in Southern California, residing in my first college educational home of Long Beach, where I work as a Program Manager in ABA.
Do you mentor?
Yes, I do occasionally take on mentees to assist with any direction and advice that may be needed.
What's next for you?
Right now, I'm enjoying getting my feet settled and exploring the beauty of Long Beach. I am still collecting hours to sit for boards, but plan to sit soon. Study season has officially commenced.
